Frequently Asked Questions

  • ARE THE BREWERY + LODGE DOG FRIENDLY?

Yes to both! We welcome friendly, well-behaved dogs on a leash to come out and enjoy our outdoor patio at the brewery and we also have a select number of dog-friendly rooms available at The Lodge for guests traveling with their best buddies.

  • HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM AT YOUR ONSITE LODGE?

You can easily check availability and/or book one of our available rooms online. For more information on the property and what we offer, head on over to The Lodge page or call our Lodge team directly at (607) 546-4066.

  • MY BAND WANTS TO PLAY YOUR VENUE - HOW DO I BOOK A SHOW?

We love great music about as much as we love craft beer, so we're always looking to book a variety of bands that can bring a fun vibe and groovy times to the brewery. If you have a band interested in booking a show, fill out a Band Booking Request.

  • IS THE BREWERY AVAILABLE TO RENT FOR MY EVENT?

Yes! Just separated from our main Brewery is our Lake Life Beer Hall. The Beer Hall is a private space with it’s own bar and restroom facility, designed to host about 20-50 people with the ability to host up to 150. If your event calls for a casual good time in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the spot for you!

  • WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR BEER?

We self-distribute our brews to select regional restaurants, bars, and retail/beverage centers within a 150 mile radius of our brewery location in the Finger Lakes. To find a retailer near you who carries our cans for purchase, check out our Beer Finder map. We do not currently sell our beer online or ship our beer direct to consumers, but we do hope to make that an available option in the near future!

  • ARE YOUR BEERS BREWED ON SITE?

Yes! We’re proud to be a 100% independently owned craft brewery. We operate on a 15 BBL brew system located right behind our serving bar to craft a wide variety of beers in-house for our visitors to enjoy. We completed an expansion of our brew floor equipment in 2019 to bring our production capacity up to just under 4,000 BBLs per year. We also purchased a canning machine in the Summer of 2018 and now offer a selection of standard and seasonal beers in 12 oz. cans.

  • ARE YOU OPEN YEAR-ROUND?

Definitely! Our hours of operation change seasonally, but we're typically open 7 days a week during the summer (Memorial Day Weekend) right through to the end of the year (New Year’s Eve) and 5 days a week (Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays) during the off-peak season.

To find our current hours, visit our website, check our Facebook page, or call the brewery directly at (607) 882-2739.

  • DO YOU TAKE GROUP/BUS RESERVATIONS?

Here at GIB, we require reservations for all commercial beer and wine tour groups. We can currently accommodate up to three group reservations per day during the following time slots: 12 PM, 1 PM, and 2 PM. If you have a tour group of 12 people or less traveling in a commercial limo, bus, or passenger van and are interested in making a time slot reservation to come out and enjoy some brews, please fill out the reservation request form here and submit it at least one week prior to your tour date.

  • I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS - WHAT CAN I EAT/DRINK THERE?

Our food menu is heavily pizza-based; however, we do have a select few items that can accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets. We’ve also marked dishes where no gluten ingredients have been used; however, we do make pizzas in our open kitchen and cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment.

We don’t currently have any gluten-free beers on our menu, but we do offer a selection of local NYS wines and sodas for those who can’t enjoy the beer. If you have additional questions about any of our offerings, call us directly at (607) 882-2739 or ask a bartender on site.
